Answers are built from your own files and from judgments and Acts you have brought in — each sentence points to the passage it came from, with the page number.

Dates, amounts, years and section numbers in the answer must appear in the cited passage, word for word. A figure that does not is caught before you see it.

A second reader checks the reasoning
Each sentence is read again against only the passage it cites. If the sources do not cover your question, CaseTask tells you so instead of filling the gap.

The notice was served on 12 March 20261. Payment fell due fifteen days after receipt, and the complaint was filed on 20 April 20262 — within the month allowed by s.1423.

Privilege is not something to configure after the fact. These rules are built into how CaseTask stores and reads data, so a forgotten setting cannot undo them.

Every record carries the chamber it belongs to, and every query is scoped to it. One chamber can never read another’s matters.

A matter is private, shared with a team, or open to the whole chamber. Members see what they own or are assigned; partners see everything.

The database and every document sit in Mumbai. Documents are in a private store and cannot be opened by anyone holding a link.

Questions chambers ask first.
Where is our data stored?+
In Mumbai, India — the database and every document. Documents are kept in a private store that nothing outside CaseTask can open.
Can clients change anything?+
No. Clients can read what you have shared, message you, send documents and pay invoices. They cannot edit the matter, and they never see private notes.
Does CaseTask track cause lists automatically?+
Not today. Each matter links straight to the official eCourts page and the court’s display board, so you read the source rather than a copy of it. Automatic listing is on our roadmap.
Does the AI give legal advice?+
No. It summarises, drafts and researches for the lawyer. Nothing reaches a client unless a person in the chamber sends it.
Does CaseTask handle our fees?+
It raises invoices and tracks what has been paid. The money itself goes straight to your account through your own payment link — CaseTask never holds it.
What does it cost?+
Solo is ₹1,499 a month and Chamber, for up to five people, is ₹3,999 a month — both before GST, and two months free if you pay yearly. Larger chambers get a quote. There is no charge until your matters are in and your team is set up.
Is there a limit on matters or clients?+
No. Every plan has unlimited matters, clients and documents. Plans differ in how many people sign in and in the team features.
